Worst customer service ever!!!!!!!!!!

signed 21st November had to make every call to try and get installation date finally sorted it out agreed 31st January it rained had total of 5 days rain put back to 19th February as no one is living at the house and we made a special trip up told them this has to be it. just got a email not a call putting it back to 26th February. really was my job ever given a date !!! they are advertising all the time are they informing customers that it takes 3 months and 5 days if you are lucky and I do not believe anything any more will have to find out if my rebate can be transferred to another company. 74817

Took all our money, and still here we sit two months later with no connection, and we wont get it for another month as Sunboost got our address wrong on the application to Origin. Dropped us like a hot potato and I have been left to sort out the mess between the two companies. Would never recommend Sunboost to anyone. They are just interested in the money. High pressure Indian salespeople who are good at getting your money, then leaving you in the dark (pardon the pun). Very disappointed. Surprised Allan Border lent his name name to these guys.

So I finally made the decision to get solar and shopped around for a service provider. On price I was very happy with my decision to choose Sunboost, however I'm very disappointed with the service that I received. First, despite meeting all of their pre installation requirements with photos etc of my site, its was discovered that they provided the wrong inverter. The electrician was able to quickly resolve the situation but unfortunately this meant I dropped from a 6kw to a 5 kw system. As they had already done most of the work by time this was discovered I was unable to say stop work and Ill seek comparable quotes for this system. Therefore I feel that Sunboost got my work on false pretences. Secondly, they (office staff) demanded payment before final completion of the work, including replacing the damaged tile under the panel they I could not do myself. (the broken tile had been glued with silicone however as it was in the valley of the tile I felt it important to replace before it deteriorated and caused problems at a later date. I could not replace the tile as it was under the top solar panel) I kindly advised the staff that I would make full payment when this issue was rectified. At no stage did I tell them I would not make payment, in fact I guaranteed payment on resolving my concerns. Despite this, the office staff member threatened me and they suspended the completion of my installation (notification to power authorities and service provider) and still failed to arrange for the work to be completed. I had to arrange the work myself directly with the installer to progress my installation. Immediately after this work was completed I settled my account. I have lodged my service complaint with the company and requested the manager call me back to discuss. 4 weeks later this still has not occurred.... Good on you Sunboost. So despite having my system installed in early January I still have to wait an additional 2-3 weeks for my meter to be upgraded and to enjoy the benefits of my solar system In my opinion, I would never choose Sunboost again!

If I could redo my solar panel experience, I would never choose Sunboost. The main issues were 1. They charged us full price ($3591) for 24 panels before anyone had even come to the house ? it turned out they could only fit 18 panels onto our roof. The company uses an aerial mapping program to estimate the number of panels which can be placed. Apparently they can?t put panels facing in 3 different directions, but this was never picked up by the person doing the initial estimate. The tradie who turned up on the day brushed it off saying ?oh this happens all the time, what do you expect when they?re sitting in an air-conditioned office doing the calculations?. 2. The ?boss? ([name removed]) didn?t actually turn up all day on the day of installation and the 2 other tradies had to leave because they could only do so much without him there. [name removed] is an ?electrician?. 3. During the 2nd day of installation (it took 3 days in total despite initial promises of half a day) one of tradies removed multiple tiles from the roof, gained access to the crawl space between the roof and our ceiling and put his foot through the ceiling leaving a big hole. [name removed] promised to have this fixed the next day but it eventually took 3 weeks for the company to find someone to do the job. 4. When I asked ?[name removed]? about a partial refund for the 6 missing panels she advised she?d get someone called ?[name removed] ? to phone me back within 3 minutes. This never happened. 5. When I asked for an emailed explanation from [name removed] about why 24 panels couldn?t be installed he told me at least 4 times on 3 different days that he would be happy to draft an email (he initially said it would take less than an hour) but he never adhered to this promise and ended up saying ?oh no that?s not something I can do, that would have to come from Sunboost?. Complaints submitted to the company, no response after 10 working days. Complaint escalated to ACCC, Clean Energy Council and the Energy and Water Ombudsman Queensland.

ANNOYING !!!!!

This company has called me numerous times to lock in a deal that i wasn't 100 percent committed too. I explained to them that i needed time to figure out exactly what i wanted and if i was interested that i would call them back considering at the time the deal was competitive. However the representative GEORGE was so persistent on making this sale he lied to me saying that the deal was a one time only offer and that if i didn't lock it in that i would miss the great chance of getting a great deal. When i refused he put his manager on the phone which took another 20 min of me still saying no. They explained to me that their reviews online were 4 out of 5 stares which was another lie. Another sales pitch was if i locked in the contract or even just putting down a deposit and if later i wasn't happy that they would give me a full refund, which i could see would be a massive hassle or possibly just another lie. Over the past few days after that i kept receiving numerous phone calls and once again being so persistent on making a sale and consistently asking me to sign up. I hope your reading this and that you don't call me again. Just FYI, iv gotten better deals with another company paying a little more however iv gotten less panels with the same amount of power.

Absolutely pathetic Sunboost

It started off fine, until an problem occurred. Then Sunboost were useless. I've had panels in my driveway for over 5 weeks, and I'm having to call them. When they finally answer, they try to charge me more to install them, then the original quote. This is still not finished. Just wanted to let anybody eles, thinking of using Sunboost. DON'T.
