I sent out a call back to 3 solar companies for quotes for a solar system. Ronnie called me on a Wednesday with the usual sales conversation. I explained to him that I have 2 people attending for a quote on the following Monday and Tuesday. He asked if he can call me Saturday to see if I would use his quote. I explained that there is no point because Saturday is before the Monday and Tuesday. Saturday came and he called me, and he asked if i would use Sunboost, I then explained i already told him I was waiting for 2 other quotes and that he is wasting both his and my time by calling me, he said if i didn't sign up, the price would go up. I said OK well i'm telling you now I will not go with Sunboost and to not call me again. he continually called me for the next for weeks until I told him aggressively to never call me again. 4 months later he has again phoned me asking if i want his business. This is why he is receiving the lowest star rating.

Booked install and had no impediments to what should have been a standard install. After weeks and the tentative date passing, a call to Angel resulted in my system still being weeks away. After another 12 days I was told by Daniel B that he would keep me informed but today Im told he still needs to get back to me with a date. This is NOT the timeline that was afreed to at initial negotiation. I have local tradies who can do a system on one weeks notice.

Do not use this company. My system was installed recently and does not work. The panels put out only 65w which is not even half of what 1 panel should produce. They sent wrong system, sent installers not qualified to do the job, the job is still not complete and they have already taken our money and REFUSE to return our many phone calls. The electricians have sent me another bill as sunboost failed to tell them of the distance from meter to inverter. They�ve left me no books, no instructions on how to use the system AND it�s not even connected to the Tesla OR the grid. It is useless junk taking up space on my roof now that does nothing at all. It doesn�t work and it�s not even a month old. We have had to contact consumer affairs for help in getting a system that will do what we ordered. If sunboost resolve all of the issues and provide us the system which we ordered and have paid for I will happily remove my review. But as it stands right now, this review is warranted and 100% justified.

The installers were fantastic! Very experienced and knowledgeable. I�d give them 6 stars if I could! What brought this process down is the poor communication skills of Sunboost representatives I�m not sure if their call centre is overseas but I struggle to get clear answers from them. We can�t utilise our solar service because Sunboost won�t complete the right forms. They ignore repeated requests until they know I�m escalating to the ombudsman. I am with origin for my grid and origin new installations have advised that Sunboost need to fill out a form it has all the details of the job, electrician etc things I wouldn�t know or have access to. Manager #jessica won�t have the form completed or at least she fails to answer my questions. So this will never resolve. She was asking if I was with AGL. I asked why, she said are you sure you�ve never been with AGL. Nope! I believe they sent the forms to the wrong grid supplier. The installer said he�d sent off all required forms so why hasn�t Sunboost got them? Why can�t sunboost fill out the form I provided them that origin require? The solar is no use to us until we get the meter changed for it. Still awaiting our service Has been escalated to Ombudsman

Installation caused leaky roof, which was fixed reasonably quickly. It took them three months to connect the installed panel to the grid, causing major financial losses. Requests for compensation were ignored.

I meant what I said in my title. I have nothing good to say about Sunboost, all they want is their money after they tried to sell you their products. After all, you will get a system that is poorly installed by their doggy, unqualified contractors. They had to come 3 times to complete the installation and still they didn't install the system properly. The installers came and said they didn't bring the racks to fit the panels and said they can install the panels first and come back to re-fit the racks later on. After numbers of contacting their so called customer service or technical department they finally send out the "boss" of the installer to check the installation. Then all he could have told me is there is nothing he can do about re-fitting the racks because it has already been installed. My solar system is not working to how it's supposed to work, most of the panels are gathering dust and collecting water because of the fitting angle of the panels are only 5 degrees. the "boss" of the installer told me I just need to get on the roof myself and clean it every few months? Like I need to do it myself to keep it clean. How crazy is that. I have the system fitted for almost 1 year and I have spent at least 6 months trying to have the issue rectified even through making a complaint to NSW fair trading. Only to get a reply back from fair trading saying that because they are not responding at all so they can not process my claim any further??? " Although I am unable to provide you with a resolution to your complaint, you can lodge a complaint with NCAT (NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal). I paid $8000 for the system because they told me I need to have micro inverter fitted. If you need a solar system installed and you would like to have "warranty" or "aftersale services", DO NOT GO WITH SUN BOOST. I AM DEAD SERIOUS, DO NOT GO WITH THEM

I paid first week of April to complete 3.6 KW solar system through sunboost. Malcolm was the sales consultant to this contract and he was professional until I paid down payment. Malcolm confirmed that it will take no more than 4 weeks to complete whole process. Once I paid down payment on 06 th April, night mare starts. I couldn't contact Malcolm through phone neither he return my phone call. However he did respond email after few days to update application process. Malcolm's behavior changes once he received deposit money. After 3 weeks he refer me to a guy Daniel who look after installation process. Malcolm confirmed that approval process has been completed, now installer will contact me for installation. I was waiting for couple of weeks without any phone call. When I did contac Daniel advised me that finance was not granted without checking any details. When I asked him finance has been approved weeks ago, he gets back to me it was his fault by not checking proper details. Then start another dilemma. Sunboost does not have that specific inverter that was include in this sale. Daniel/Malcolm asked me to pay $150 extra to get different type of inverter which they have in their stock. I agreed to pay that extra money to avoid any further delay. Finally I was advised that installer will come first week of May for installation. I took a day off(Monday) from my work to complete this process. I was waiting for the installer to come . I called to sunboost at 10:00 am to get update on installer and shockingly sunboost told me that installer car involved in a car crash on the way to my property which was a absolute terrible lie. I calle Malcolm did not pick up my phone. Called Daniel for installer no show up, didn't answer my phone call. I couldn't contact either Malcolm/Daniel for two weeks for this incident not they call me back. Malcolm did respond my email after that mentioning installer will book another date. Finally I was given another date third week of May, which installer did come. However shows very unprofessional attitude not knowing what to do get job done. They did not bring right tools to complete this job. They also blame that weather is too cold to do this job. There was no rain or storm however. Finally I was given another date today(01 June 2019) as I am writing this review. Installer did come today, weather was perfect, no rain. However they find another issue that they need power lift to complete this job and they left. so far three different date for installation and unable to complete for various silly reason. I had to take time off few times to witness this circus without complete job. What I can say I lost my word how can I define this ridiculous services offered by sunboost and their installer. Completely unprofessional, inept, to serve customer. I don't know how many more schedule I need to attend to complete this job in my property in Pennington. I am asking whether is any sensible person working for Sunboost can solve this issue. You can't misguide, harass or treat client as you did with me in this process. Sayem Pennington-5013

Xavier at SunBoost somehow obtained my email address and sent it out to around a hundred other people, all of which made it very clear that they had not consented to being contacted let alone have our contact information shared. Very unproffesional and has not been dealt with. Whatever you do dont give these guys your details
