Still Waiting

Everything appeared to run smoothly until it rained. I have leaks in my roof and have been waiting 7 weeks for the installer to return to fix it. I have been very patient. But now I am concerned about damages especially to equipment in the room. All they say is they can't get hold of the installer. So I feel they should stop employing him until the job is done or pay for someone to fix it.

Very unhappy customer..Sunboost is forcing me to have service done on the panel otherwise there�s no warranty on it and they will charge $385. Any one out there don�t buy the Sunboost panels it�s a rib off

Well not so perfect!! after installation system validation control missing!!

Purchased a 9.99Kw system in April21 and the post installation check about the system performing the way it should be is missing! After more than 35 emails since May21 and customer service telling me that shading issue was the problem and that I need it to wait for summer to see system performing at it best but system never doing more thank 6Kw with no shades at all and full sun. Finally, a technician came to my house (Oct21) with the condition that if everting is working fine, I had to pay for his visit. The technician clearly told me 1/3 of the panel�s energy production was not received in the Fronius Inverter so further evaluation was required to evaluate why? that they need to call the inverter manufacturer etc etc. At this stage 12th Nov 21 my system still produces 6Kw at its best and still waiting the situation to get fixed. They ask me all the time to have more patience!! Hope the situation get fixed if not then we have to lodge a claim ACCC Company needs to add a control process to evaluate system installed are performing as per contract specifications. Client should not be chasing the company!! Many thanks,

Installer fitted incorrect metre isolator, the issue took 2 months to rectify which has postponed our metre upgrade and our solar still isn�t selling back to the grid. Installer left tech screws and rubbish on site. Sunboost sales executives were however good to deal with but not efficient with attending to our issues when raised.

I made an inquiry about getting solar I asked the salesman for a quote and I told him I would have a look at it and call him back he has rang me every day sometimes 3 or more times a day telling me I need to pay the deposit or he can�t give me the special price when I told him I wanted to look at all the quotes I got he told me that I�m being silly and I need to pay the deposit so I told him don�t call me I�ll call him That day he rang me another 2 times at the end I told him no more he then said if you don�t pay now I will have to pay full price or buy it from someone else I will never recommend sunboost solar very rude and to pushy

Installed but no idea of what to do!

I do not recommend Sunboost to anyone. For others like myself that have little to no experience with solar, I would strongly advise you to avoid Sunboost and visit an in store solar company instead. My family and I may have it all connected, however, we have so many questions and issues that are not able to be answered through Sunboost. The lack of information is ridiculous. The STC Financial Initiative document does not explain how to access it, what to do in order to access it or who to contact in order to begin accessing it. The document we were provided with is pointless. Upon having our smart meter installed we were left with no information package at all. We have no idea how it works or what any of the codes mean. Once everything was installed, we attempted to create and access our account which supposedly tells you about the energy you use, the energy you created and how much is being transferred back to the grid. However in doing so, we discovered this could not be done due to being given the incorrect MNI number (needed to be 11 digits, we were given 10). With so many questions, we can't even call Sunboost due to the lack of communication with call centre staff. We find ourselves having to repeat our questions and get the receiver to re-explain what they said multiple times because we are unable to understand what was said due to the receiver having strong accents. Talking to the call centre is almost impossible.

The installers couldn�t install all the panels I paid for, got a ridiculous refund for the ones the couldn�t install. The install took 7 hours, for 12 panels despite being told it would be less time.

DODGEY INVOICING

Please be very wary. The sales person was dealing with a family member, and taking advantage of their limited understanding on contracts. They wanted pictures of meter boxes and roof and on that basis they sent through a contract that was titled invoice. Whatever happened to doing a written quote first. After discussions with sales person the installer came to inspect, and another invoice / contract was sent for signing. The representative for Sunboost did not want to put in writing in the contract any specific date for completion, and did not do so. Extremely pushy sales person. Please read, and understand all clauses of your contract because this company will take every opportunity to not take responsibility for failure to supply.
